Genjii Pit Bull Terrier & Airedale Terrier Mix Philadelphia, PA

Genji is a big puppy who was just skin and bones when he joined the rescue. He is a happy, wiggly, silly boy who is only 9 months old and about 35 pounds. He looks like a Vizsla and bully breed mix. He would like to find an active family who will enjoy training him more since he is working on his basic puppy manners. He loves to play and thinks everything is a game so is still learning to work on his mouthiness. He loves children but due to still learning to play gentle, he would do better living without them. He loves playing fetch and tug with his toys. He lives with cats and other dogs of all sizes. He would love a dog around his size who would play with him. A large to medium dog who was well socialized and liked to play and wrestle with him, but could also teach him how to be calm would be his ideal companion. He can be a vocal player. He often optimistically hopes that tiny dogs and cats will play with him even though they often don’t want to. He can be known to chase cats so should be monitored but generally leaves them alone. He is crate trained and stays crated overnight. He is mostly housebroken and goes to the bathroom in the yard better than on walks. Other than the occasional burst of energy, he walks well on the leash. He loves meeting new people and thinks everyone is there to say hi to him. He is always wagging his tail and just wants love.
