Meet Gary Goose
Imagine walking down the street and hearing music playing only to see a dog bebopping down the street to a completely different beat. That dog would be Gary Goose. This dog epitomizes “dancing to the beat of his own drum”.
Gary Goose is a year old and weighs around 50 pounds. Gary is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped! He does not have any special needs or take any medication.
Gary Goose LOVES life! He bounces more than he runs or walks – we are pretty sure if he could skip, he would! Gary loves all things puppy – toys, romping in the yard with his foster siblings, eating until his belly can’t possibly hold another morsel, and napping. Gary lives with foster siblings of all ages and sizes and does great with everyone. He has zero concept of another dog not liking him, which probably helps them all like him. If someone doesn’t want to play, Gary doesn’t let that get him down…he just finds a toy and bebops around by himself.
Gary Goose always lives with cats and has very little interest in them. Gary Goose has so much going for him - he's low-key, he's a great size, he loves walks and he's a gentle boy. But...Gary Goose is really struggling to grasp the concept of potty training. He doesn't have accidents in the house, but fully believes he's supposed to do his business in his kennel. His foster mom has worked with him and worked with him, and poor Gary is just struggling to understand. He has spent some time in a home where he wasn't kenneled and had no accidents so it could just be a kennel thing for him.
Gary Goose is looking for a patient, fun-loving outgoing family to call his own! He will need time to adjust to his new forever home and family. We know, even with his special personality, that if someone would give this boy a chance, they would fall in love with him.
