Galileo is a young American Shelter dog and a longer-term resident eagerly awaiting his forever family. While initially timid and sometimes hesitant in new situations, Galileo has blossomed into a silly, playful pup who loves to engage with people. He knows "sit," "shake," and "down," and is highly treat-motivated, making training a breeze.

He walks well on leash, though he can be a bit of a puller, especially when excited! He is easily redirected with treats and verbal cues. Galileo enjoys exploring and sniffing on walks and has shown improvement in his confidence and comfort levels.

It is important to note that Galileo does have some prey drive and can have escaping tendencies, so a securely fenced yard/ home would be ideal for this big boy . He also has some handling sensitivities and will do best with an adopter(s) who understands and respects his boundaries when he communicates them.
