Oh HI!! For anyone who doesn't know me, my name is Gali Leo. Leo for short, and I am looking to find my forever home here on Rescue Rovers.

About Me-

I'm a 7 month old, male, and I'm listed as a cattle dog mix but there's no doubt that I have terrier in me due to my scruffy face. I weigh in at 30lbs and we aren't 100% sure but the puppy calculator says I will grow to be about 40 lbs.

My Hobbies-

One thing about me is that I'm SUPER curious and I believe it is my job to check out EVERYTHING. Loud noises don't tend to scare me, little human feet in the dark of night is another story. Of course, this means that I can be a bit mischievous and a little bit of an escape artist (need me to squeeze through the cat door? I'm your man!) It's safe to say that I consider myself second best to Indiana Jones because I'm always trying the most daring things. I am a goof and always doing funny things, I like to leave subtle hints that it's dinner time, or steal the leash and walk my foster brother.

Besides my love for adventure I also love to play, which isn't a surprise because I'm a puppy. I love wrestling and running with the other dogs although I sometimes trip due to my stubby little legs, but that doesn't stop me from trying! Like a typical puppy I love to chew and have a tendency to want to try everything, but I listen well to correction and do well when given boundaries. I love going for walks and am learning not to pull with a prong collar, I walk nicely by your side when using one.

Oh and did I mention that I love to sleep? I do! I will sleep just about anywhere, including my crate. Speaking of, I love my crate. I sleep quietly all night in it and have never had an accident. I will even go in and take a nap if the door is left open. Potty training is going well for me. The first thing I do once I get outside is use the bathroom. I will whine quietly in my crate if I need to go out and have only had a few accidents in the house. I have never had an accident in my crate.

My Home Life-

When it comes to people I'm very friendly. I think everyone should be my friend. I live in a house with 5 kids ranging from ages 17 to 4 years old so I'm no stranger to chaos. I would do great in a house with kids as long as they are dog savvy and old enough to understand my puppy antics.

I am good with other dogs and love to play with them, even though it doesn't take long for me to warm up, slow intros are best when it comes to both dogs and other pets as well. A house with a young playful dog would be great!

I'm still trying to figure out cats, my foster family has a chill dog savvy, outdoor cat who we dogs like to chase but up close I am friendly and just want to smell and play. I could coexist with a cat as long as they are patient.
