Sweet Frieda’s story has us all scratching our heads — and tugging at our hearts.
She was found wandering as a stray a few weeks ago, but no one has come forward to claim her.
From the moment she arrived at HHPP, we could tell she had been loved before... she even came in with her little toenails painted! Who paints a dog's nails and then doesn't come looking for her?!
Frieda is an absolute sweetheart - gentle, affectionate, and oh-so-smart.
She knows her commands, listens
beautifully, and has stolen the hearts of every volunteer she's met.
She loves toys, loves people, and most of all, she loves being part of the action.
You can see it in her eyes that she just wants to belong again.
We're hoping her stay here will be short and sweet — because Frieda deserves to curl up in her forever home, not in a kennel.
