Frida, loving, mellow and shy
Hi! My name is Frida. I am a 5 year old, 45 lbs sweetheart. I am house trained and crate trained. I get along with dogs and Im sweet to cats. How a sweetheart like me finds her self in rescue? Unfortunately my human mom moved from Texas to California and couldn’t take me with her. She drove 3 hrs to drop me off with my foster mom as she knew my foster mom would find me the best family ever!
My hair is soft and not wiry but definitely if you are looking for a hypoallergenic dog I might not be a good fit as I am for sure a mixed breed doggie.
I haven’t been around children but at my foster moms I live with cats and dogs and get along really well. I am more on the shy/introverted side but Im very sweet and loving to my family. I hesitate when a new person wants to pet me and hide behind my human or under the table but eventually lets them pet me. I don't have to be crated around the house but sometimes I still like to be inquisitive and find my self in trouble looking inside trashcans. Since I arrived to my foster home I have always been around another dog or a human which has made my adjustment easier.
My favorite things are to be petted, walks and car rides!
I sleep in a doggie bed right next to my foster moms bed or in a bed in the living room. My foster mom also crates me to make sure I know my routine. Routines are very important to rescue dogs as they give them certainty of what’s happening and help them relax in a new environment.
