Freya Alaskan Malamute Gettysburg, PA

Freya is a beautiful 6-year-old female malamute whose adopted family tragically passed away. This sweet and affectionate girl loves belly rubs and lounging around watching tv with you. She walks well on a leash and is potty trained. Sudden loud noises can be frightening so a quiet suburb life is preferable.

She does well seeing other dogs on walks but would prefer not to share a home with another dog. She has never been around young children but may do well in a home with children 8 and older.

Your application tells us about your lifestyle and helps us find a potential match for you and your family. We are happy to work with you. For example, if you don't have a fence, we can help find alternatives and/or a dog that will do well without a fence.

A home visit is required prior to adoption/fostering. You can visit the malamute(s) once you've completed the process. Alternatively, you may volunteer and learn how rewards-based training brings out the best in malamutes.

ADOPTION FEES
~Senior dogs (8+ years old): $100.00
~Adult dogs (2 years up to 8): $300.00  
~Puppies (6 months - 2 years): $350.00
~Puppies under 6 months: $375

All Malamutes are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. Puppy fees are higher due to more vet visits and vaccines. The adoption fee helps us cover these costs.
