We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster.

Fresco, 5 year old, male, Cattle Dog/Pit mix
Fresco is flying from @Paws For Life K9 in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday 6/18 via Dog Is My Copilot. Fresco was surrenderd for unknown reasons to a shelter in LA after he was owned for 5 years and was an outdoor dog in a yard his whole life. He is very calm and is learning how amazing the spoiled life is! He has done well with all dogs he has been introduced to so far. We will learn more about Fresco's temperment and what his perfect home looks like when we meet him when he arrives!

A note from his current foster family: "
Fresco has been with us as a foster for almost 3 weeks and he continues to blossom. He is eager to take even longer walks ( 3 to 4 miles each day ) and loves to be outside and meeting new people. He gets quite a lot of attention when he is wearing his ADOPT ME vest and we have a tough times getting through all the vendors at the People’s Market on Wednesday evenings because so many people stop and ask to pet him.

His personality gets bigger every day and wags his tail so hard sometimes that i think he is going to injure himself. He even breaks out in zoomies in the backyard at times because he is so excited.
Fresco is going to melt someone’s heart as soon as they meet him, we are sure."

Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy.

Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
