Meet Frenchie - MI
This is Frenchie...
Frenchie isn't called Frenchie because of his breed, but the fact that he likes to kiss his people... lots He's a very sweet and very affectionate boy who seems to love all the people he meets. Now cats?? Not so much. So the best home for Frenchie will have a family to love him and a yard for him to have room to run and play - without cats. He gets along with other dogs pretty darned well, though.
Frenchie was on the euthanasia list at the pound. But we couldn't let this amazing guy meet that fate so Artemis stepped in to save him. We are committed to finding the perfect home for this adorable boy. That could be you!!
He is heartworm negative, neutered, and current on all vaccinations and preventatives so he's ready to go home with his forever family like... yesterday! Can you help him?
Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue in Arkansas.
We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI.
Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue.
Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.

Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications.
The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport.
