Meet Freddy
Meet Freddy!
Hi, I’m Frederick, but you can call me Freddy for short. I about 6 years old and came to Wisconsin in June and I love it here! There’s so many fun things to do.
Foster Mom keeps telling me about this really cool place called my “Forever Home” and I can’t WAIT to see it. I thought we could go see it, but no one seems to be home these days. *big yawn and stretch*
OK….. where was I?
Oh! So far, I’ve met some smaller people (the humans call them kids) and they sure love to play with me. They’re so fun! I also love all the snuggles from the big humans too. Heck, I think all the people are great! Foster Mom said that I’m not your “typical” chihuahua. Whatever that means. Hers knows things, I guess.
I prefer to carry around toys that are larger than me. This is very important. I have to nap at least every hour. It’s hard being this macho. So, I hope you understand that I require that your lap be ready for a sit and a snooze during these times. If you’re unavailable doing your work things, I can snuggle in a doggo bed with my foster brother and sisters.
OMG, when we first met, I tried to show off and growl. Unfortunately my tail wags gave me away and we all ended up being friends within a couple of hours. They’re all pretty cool and we even get to eat in the same room together. But some doggos take me awhile to get used to, but we’re peas and carrots within a couple of weeks. I just need to be patient in my new surroundings. I may snarl a little, but I’m kinda nervous and cu rious. It goes away after awhile. I promise.
I am house broken, but get a little confused at first because of all the new smells, so I need to go potty outside a lot when I first get to a new house. But then I get the hang of it and remember that I get treats if I do it outside. Worth it! Treats are the best!
Please let me know if you are available so you can show me a Forever Home. I’d love to meet you and hope you’ll fill out an application for me. Please see my adoption information below. Hope to meet you soon!
