Oh, Freddie. Will he ever find his forever family? He has been waiting for over a year and a half! Please, please share his profile and help us find Freddie the amazing home he deserves!!!

Meet Freddie!! He is a 3.5-year-old, approximately 65-pound, Pitbull mix who was born around March 2018. He became a Misfit around the end of 2019 when he arrived at a local shelter as a stray with a broken leg. His leg healed very nicely, and you would never even know he was injured before. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Freddie is a healthy and happy pup with no major special needs! He has some anxiety, but he does well on medication or with homeopathic remedies. He would greatly benefit from an owner that would be willing to go through dog training courses with him.

Freddie is house and kennel trained with a good schedule, but he has unfortunately been in boarding for quite some time due to lack of a willing and able foster home (if you’re not in the market for a new pup, but you would consider fostering, please inquire via E-mail to muttmisfitsfosters@yahoo.com or apply at www.muttmisfits.com/foster-application).

Freddie would do best as an only dog, but he would be okay with the right like-sized / like-energy dog. He would be too much for smaller dogs, cats, or very young children. Freddie loves people and would really enjoy a forever home with someone that is willing and able to maintain an active lifestyle that he can be a part of!

Anyone familiar with Freddie’s breed should expect his amazing energy! He is a happy and sweet boy who loves to run!! He would be the most excellent buddy for anyone who enjoys running, hiking, camping, etc. He might even love to swim, though we have not tested the theory.
