Freddie Jack Russell Terrier & Dachshund Mix Toronto, ON

Freddie is a happy little chappie who loves to play! He makes himself at home wherever he goes and enjoys a good lie-in on the Sofa. He is just a young lad who is still learning his commands. He is getting better at SIT, STAY, COME HERE, OFF, and is also learning HEEL on lead. He is very good in the house and asks to go outside to do his toilet.

He loves playing with leaves in the garden and has learned what a ball is (though he doesn’t always bring it back ? ). He also loves playing with his foster-sister and enjoys chasing her when she has the ball. He sleeps on his sofa or pillow at night and goes in his kennel to ride in the car. He is very good in the house when we are at work during the day but will bark if he sees someone out the window.

Apparently, he was a stray, so we don’t know what was his start in life, but he appears to be half wire-haired Dachshund (with JRT legs and ears) ?. He doesn’t like the cold weather but has learned to wear a coat and wait to get his paws wiped off when he comes inside.

Freddie would likely love a home with kids, or perhaps another small dog as he does enjoy playing! He is high-energy and just likes to have a good time all the time ?.
