This is Fred, he is a 2 year old pit/hound mix (he bays like a hound from time to time). Fred is small in stature but has a big personality. He is house and crate trained and knows how to use a dog door. He gets along with his female foster siblings (he’s a ladies man and doesn’t like to hang with the boys much), though he can sometimes try to be the man in charge. He loves to go on walks and does best with an easy walk harness. He does get over stimulated when he sees other dogs or squirrels on walks, and we are working on redirecting him.
Fred would do great in a home on his own or with a female dog, and some additional training. He is a little stubborn, but he would greatly benefit from some one-on-one training.
Fred is a sweet boy who deserves to find a family of his own after spending his whole life in the rescue.
Heart-worm negative, current on vaccines.
