Fred Hound & Spaniel Mix Smithfield, NC

Meet Fred! He is a very handsome three year old hound spaniel mix weighing in at 51 pounds. He is house and crate trained and gets along great with other dogs. It takes Fred about 10 days or so to get settled in his new home. He is a shy, high-energy boy who will require a lot of exercise. He walks well on a leash. Fred lived most of his life outside so he is learning to finally enjoy the pleasures of indoor life. He has been with his foster family since 6/23 and he is neutered and up to date on all vaccines and heartworm negative. He is very shy so he will need a family who will be patient with him as he learns to trust. Fred is very smart and has made great progress while he learns more and more each day. He really loves to play outside so he would like a fenced in yard please. When he is really excited get ready for the zoomies! Fred has big, beautiful soulful eyes that seem to say "Hey...I am here and I am ready for my forever home!"
