Freckles is a 3-year-old French Bulldog with a unique charm that lives up to his namehis adorable little freckles around his mouth make him truly one of a kind!
Freckles came to us as an owner surrender due to severe hotspots on his belly and legs. His previous owners couldnt afford medical care and were moving out of state. With the right treatmentweekly medicated baths, antibiotics, and daily Benadryl along with a skin allergy probiotichis hotspots have completely healed. Freckles is feeling better than ever and ready for his next adventure!
Freckles is extremely sweet and docile, enjoying nothing more than lounging and soaking up attention from his humans.
He has a gentle, snobby Frenchie attitude that makes him irresistibly charming.
While playful, Freckles knows how to engage with his friends gently, snorting happily as he trots along.
He loves going to car shows but he wont do much walking so make sure you bring a wagon for him!
Freckles knows basic commands and is mostly potty trained. He is crate trained and will not have accidents in your home but we cant promise he wont hike is leg here and there but that is subsiding. Freckles is not overly dominant or submissivehe strikes the perfect balance. He will defend himself and gets along well with most of his fur friends, but hes currently working through a past encounter with one particular dog. With slow introductions and leash walks, theyre making progress. Freckles thrives in a calm, loving environment where he can bask in attention and give love in return.
Freckles would do best in a home committed to maintaining his allergy care routine, which includes weekly ear cleanings, skin probiotics, and medicated baths as needed. Hes perfect for someone seeking a laid-back, affectionate companion with a playful side.
