Health: Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. *******FRANNY IS SPECIAL NEEDS********* Franny is incontinent with both Urine and Bowel. We have to wash her backside daily to help keep her clean. We only put a diaper on her when she has to go somewhere otherwise she is diaper free when she is crated or outside. Franny is a sweet girl but has always lived here in the rescue so she will need some help with walking on a leash and being free raoming in the house. We have a special crate for her that allows most of the bowel movements and urine to fall through to help Franny keep clean. Franny will require patience, it is not her fault that she can not control her bowel or urine. Please understand that she will make messes and she does smell. She loves to run and play with the other dogs but she will sometimes get some stool on them when playing so please be advised there will be lots of baths in their future. We want Franny to find a forever home but we also understand that her forever home will have to understand her needs and always be kind to her. Franny would do best in a home without small children just due to the messes that she will make. Small children may noot understand to avoid the messes when they occur. Did You Adopt Franny?

Meet Franny

Franny is 1 1/2 old. She came to us as a breeder surrender when they found out that she was incontinent. She was 8 weeks old when she came to us and we had her evaluated at our vet and it is determined that she has no anal tone and this is the cause of the incontinence. We have also taken her to a chiropractor but not much change with that either. She seemed to like it so that was good. She has been stopped up with bowel once so far and we had to sedate her to get her to clean out. Since then we have her on a canned food diet only and she has been doing very well. She is a sweet girl that just wants to be loved. She can be a bully when meeting new dogs but once she is used to them she will play with them very well. She enjoys her time outside in the yard running and playing. She is used to being in her crate when we are unable to watch her. We only use a diaper when we have to leave home to go to the vet, otherwise we just clean up after her. She is used to having a butt wash at least three times a day and is very good for it. She does make a mess at times so please keep this in mind if you are interested in adding her to your family. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is on monthly heartworm, flea/tick prevention.
