Franky is all settled into his foster home and now he's ready to find his forever family! He quickly became a kennel favorite thanks to his calm, gentle nature. Franky would thrive as an only dog and is a perfect fit for apartment living—he’s quiet, well-behaved, and handles stairs like a pro.

Franky’s favorite pastime? Snuggling up on the couch with his foster family for a cozy movie night—especially if there’s a blanket involved! He’s also recently discovered his love for toys, especially squeaky ones. Give him a squeaky toy and you'll see him light up with joyful bursts of energy—before he happily crashes into nap mode.

And when it’s time to sleep? Franky is a master of the classic “roach” position (on his back with paws in the air), and he can roach just about anywhere!

If you're looking for a sweet, snuggly, and silly companion, Franky just might be the one!

This dog is being fostered in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Area. We do not ship dogs. Adopters must be committed to meeting the dog in the area it is being fostered.

The adoption fee for a Senior HGA dog is $211.00. This fee pays for medical costs including spay/neuter surgery, shots, parasite treatments, teeth cleaning, microchip and microchip registration fee. Each dog also comes with a special sighthound collar and leash set and muzzle. There is a $30 non-refundable application fee.
