Frank Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Omaha, NE

Check out the ears on this little guy! Frank traveled up to Omaha from a rescue in Arkansas and is now settling into his foster home.

Frank loves to stay busy, whether it's inspecting the yard or chewing on a bully stick. He wants to be involved in everything you do, and he would enjoy a home that welcomes him as part of the family. Toys are a big hit with Frank - he's a fan of stuffies, squeakers, and food puzzles. He is always a just step behind his foster humans, and appreciates cuddles on the couch. Frank has strong opinions and isn’t afraid to voice them.

Like most puppies, Frank will thrive with consistent training. He is intelligent, eager to please and food motivated. Frank sleeps through the night in his crate (after a few minutes of protest). His recall, potty training, and "sit" are all coming along very nicely, but adopters will want to continue positive reinforcement to help him master these skills.

Frank gets along with other dogs. He has also met kittens, though he is more interested in their food than playing with them. Frank would likely do well in a home with children.

Your adoption donation includes all initial vetting, including the entire series of puppy vaccinations (DAPP, Rabies, Lepto, and Bordetella), flea/tick treatment, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and neuter once age appropriate.
