Fox German Shepherd Dog Chicago, IL

Fox was part of a court case and was confiscated at the very young age of 10 days. Due to the nature of the court system, he spent the first 5 months of his life in the shelter with his siblings and other canine house mates. While the shelter life is no place for puppies (or anyone, really), the staff did a wonderful job giving Fox and his family all of the love and care they could, which really set him up for success. Since being placed in a foster home, Fox has really opened up and is a happy-go-lucky little guy. He can be skittish with new people, especially men, but does a great job of advocating for himself by putting space between himself and whatever he’s afraid of. He loves being held like a baby (thank goodness he’s a little guy!), romping in the backyard with his 3 GSD foster siblings, terrorizing the cats, and following his foster mom around.
