Meet Nespresso (aka Nessie)!

Nespresso has spent the last few months being an amazing mama to her seven puppies, and now that they’re growing up and finding homes of their own, it’s her turn to find a loving forever family!

Nessie is currently heartworm positive, so she’s looking for a foster-to-adopt home where she can rest and heal. She needs a quiet environment during her treatment, and once she’s finished, her adoption can be made official!

This sweet girl is completely house trained — she’s never had an accident in her foster home. She does great in her crate, sleeping through the night without any issues and keeping her space nice and clean, even with food and water inside. Nessie is laid-back but still enjoys bursts of energy, especially when she’s getting love and attention. She absolutely adores her people and will happily throw herself into your arms for some snuggles when you lean down!

Nessie walks very nicely on leash but isn’t a fan of being tied out — she’d love a fenced-in yard or leashed walks where she can move around freely. She loves tennis balls, rope toys, and sticks, and is treat-motivated (Old Mother Hubbard biscuits are her favorite!). She’s still working on some minor manners like not jumping up for attention and taking treats more gently.

Nessie would thrive as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love for herself. She’s currently living with kids but would do best in a quieter home with children 10 and up. We aren’t sure how she does with cats yet.

Nessie is sweet, snuggly, and playful with a heart full of love. She may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s your biggest fan. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just wants to be right by your side, Nessie is your girl!
