Lynyrd is ready to find his foster-to-adopt home where he can continue his journey to a happy, healthy life!
This sweet boy arrived from a shelter in Mississippi severely underweight and shut down. Thanks to regular meals and loving care, Lynyrd has not only gained weight — he’s truly come out of his shell! He’s now a happy, playful pup who loves his stuffy toys, adores head scratches, and happily trades kisses for attention. He’s also highly food motivated, which makes training a breeze!
Lynyrd is an easygoing, laid-back guy who doesn’t ask for much — just a comfy bed, some toys, and a safe place to call home. He’s currently thriving in his foster home, living with two small dogs, a large pit mix, two foster puppies, and three teenagers — and he fits in beautifully with everyone. He’s quiet, does well in his crate, and is truly a joy to have around.
Lynyrd did test positive for heartworm disease, so he’ll need to go through treatment before his adoption can be finalized. That’s why we’re seeking a foster-to-adopt family willing to provide him a loving home during treatment. Once he’s medically cleared, we’ll happily make the adoption official.
We provide all supplies and support — you provide the love and a safe place to heal!
