Meet Flynn
Can you believe that when I came to Rescue One, I didn't even know anything about dog toys? Even though I am only 6 months old, life has not been easy for me. I was underweight and had Parvo when I arrived. I am putting on weight and am up to 23 pounds. My name is Flynn and I am a 7 month old rat terrier/ Dachshund mix who is ready for my fur-ever home. I am a sweet boy who loves cuddles, treats and kisses. I am a little wary of men at first, but if they will sit on the ground and speak softly, I will warm up pretty quick. I get along with dogs and cats and would love to find a companion that has lots of love to give. Did I mention that I am house broken and crate trained? Maybe even a family with kids and who love outdoor adventures. I am flexible as to where I could live...apartment or a house with a fenced yard. Now that I have been introduced to the good life, I am ready to go all in!
Update from my foster mom: He has officially beaten parvo and escaped a euthanasia list! This guy is unstopable! He loves to be outside sniffing and exploring. Inside he thinks he's a parkour pro! Nylabones are his absolute favorite chew toy and his favorite place to be is on or touching you at all times. He is definitely your new shadow that is just full of love to give. He is still shy and nervous at first but we are working on that. Now that he has the all clear to go socialize the adventures can begin!
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*
