Meet Fluffy
Fluffy is a female toy poodle about 2-4 years old and 6 pounds. She was entrusted to us along with three other dogs by a loving owner who had to give them up because of life changes.
Fluffy’s beautiful white coat is soft and luxurious and will look even better when it has time to grow out a little. We had to shave her down upon arrival due to mats and tangles so her photos don’t show how “fluffy” she will soon be. Check her head and face in the photos and this will give a clue. She has an endearing face set off by dark eyes and a coal black button of a nose. Fluffy is very feminine and sensitive in nature. She is sweet and, although she loves to be held and cuddled, she is very timid and anxious - especially on a first meeting. We think this is part of a process in which Fluffy is adjusting to her new surroundings and to the major changes that have occurred in her life. She will need a patient and experienced owner who can spend lots of time with her and not rush her in adjusting to a new home. We think that eventually she will gain confidence, bond tightly a and become some lucky person’s cherished pet and lifetime companion. We have already noticed major progress in Fluffy’s demeanor in the relatively short time she’s been with us.

All the dogs are healthy, spayed/neutered, current on shots, parasite / heart worm disease tested (and treated if positive). All dogs are microchipped, groomed and trained to use a doggie door.
