Meet FLOYD

A county field officer was called out to capture a stray Chihuahua mix; meet Floyd. Floyd needed to be caught with a snare, because he would not get within reach to be rescued. When it comes to fight or flight, Floyd would rather look for an exit than pick an argument. His favorite time at county was playgroup; Floyd really enjoys romping with other dogs. County hand delivered Floyd to Home Fur Good. He is 12 pounds and approximately eight years old. To help Floyd adjust, he has been sharing a kennel with a buddy named Leon. Floyd has a ton to say in his kennel; he is just getting your attention for treats. He loves to play hard to get, but he is adjusting to the routine and consistency of shelter life. He is used to the staff and is happy to walk along on a leash, or a good trick is to get the leash on him, keep him close, then you can scoop him up to carry. The adoption fee is $150 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm.
