Meet the Chairwoman of the Board, Flower! Yes, this little 2 1/2 year old, 40 lb dynamo knows what she wants and how to get it. She’s a decision maker, a little licorice nugget with a big personality who loves big.
Flower’s first love? Tennis balls! You’ll always find a stash of tennis balls in her kennel; she picks one up to take on a walk (and then like a kid drops it after a time for her human on the other side of the leash to pick up).
Off leash in an open space she’s a soccer pro! Not fetch, soccer! Watching her ‘kick’ the ball to you with her front paws is a riot. Note: she can play for hours!
Second to soccer is cuddling! An active cuddler, Flower is vocal and her cuddling grumbles proclaim her love. She warms up to people slowly with a proper introduction and generally does better with women than with men. That being said, she loves one of our male volunteers and watching them cuddle on the couch makes me laugh.
Flower is very housetrained, is, of course, spayed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations.
Best as a solo pup, Flower is ready to find forever love. We’ll send her off with lots of love and a tennis ball ? or ten!!
