Meet Flitter
Is home your happy place? Flitter’s perfect life would be to stay at home with you forever playing fetch outside and getting belly rubs. Do you already have a dog that could use a playful companion? Flitter is a happy pup that loves to play tug of war and chase around the yard with other pups. He gives great hugs and there is nothing better than the excitement he exerts when you come home, and he lights up with a smile. While he is still growing and coming out of those puppy stages, he will probably end up around 45lbs fully grown so that perfect medium sized dog. He is a shy boy when it comes to meeting new people and going new places so he will need a family willing to give him time to get comfortable in a new home, but this guy is 100% worth it. Flitter is a such a wonderful dog, and any family would be lucky to have this good boy.

Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
