Flip Belgian Shepherd / Malinois & Collie Mix Encinitas, CA

Hi I'm Flip.....Its my nickname because of my giant ears that folded back for the first 4 months of my boyhood. :) I am the middle pup in this litter of 5. ...my human mommy says that I am the very best boy of all of our tribe and she loves how sweet and calm I am!

My dog moms name is Azteka. She was a very mistreated momma that was chained to a post with a wire around her neck and connected to only 4 feet of chain. No water most of the time and barely any food. She was constantly pregnant and must have had many many litters in the dirt before human mom found her and took her away to "el otro lado" The "other side" in English is a magical place for dogs...every place we go in the USA is so clean and wonderful and everyone we have met loves dogs so much.

I am a mix of both Belgian Malinois and some sort of Collie, Rhodesian Ridgeback or even Mexican hairless since Momma Azteka has a reverse mohawk on her neck....she's so hip and cool! :) My mommy is a sweet dog and a bit smaller than the average shepherd mix...and we are all on the small side as well. We all got kinda chunky these last few months because human mom lets us pig out...but we are super healthy, cute and we love our humans toooooo much! Our litter is pretty close and we all love hikes and running together through our yard. My littermates and I can spend hours playing tag and exploring a little through the woods. But we are never far from our human and in typical Malinoise style...we are always on alert and ready to make sure our humans are in sight.

I'm one of the sweetest of my tribe and human mom says I am just the easiest sweetest boy. Poochie Mom says we are the smartest and most well behaved little shepherd puppies ever and she tells us that the family that adopts us is going to have the very best pups in the world!

We have been around cats and they were cool to look at through the window when we were tiny babies...so we possibly will do well if you have a cat or any other dogs since we have been raised in a little zoo are both very docile with all humans, other animals (except Coyotes) ....Yes, we like kiddos too and would love to grow up with our little human person.

We took our time and our doggie mommy spoiled us, so we nursed for 3 months...but now we loooooove our doggy food! Its so delicious and we have terrible table manners...so we will need to practice gently food time once we are separated from our litter and shepherd friends.

Ive had my first 2 rounds of shots and rabies here in Montana and our neuter and spay appointments are set for Jan 10th. Poochie Mom has dewormed us with Panacur and Strongid every 2-4 weeks. She is the poo Nazi and says we have good poos...and we are getting fat. We think she's so funny when she talks about "poo"....Hee hee! :)

We are going to miss our moms and friends so much...but we are getting very excited to have a family of our very own that will love us for our long long lives....hopefully 18-20 years.

Since my nutter is already set on Jan 10th at our most wonderful vet in the world located in Twin Bridges we will need to get there on that date so Poochie Momma can cover all our costs on that if you adopt us before that date:) Plus you will probably adore Dr. Ellie as much as we do! Its one of the most important days of my life...so we can be sure I will not create more puppies and add to the very sad situation of so many euthanized pets every year. I love all my furry friends and Poochie Mom too much to ever betray them.

It has been a very hard year for our Poochie Mom and us and we have had to deal with a lot of very mean people, so please understand that our new guardian angels that protect PM and us will only answer serious inquiries. If you write at least a paragraph about what you can offer me as a home, it will be responded to right away because we will be able to see your heart in the words that you write about your past and current pets and your family.

So, I will say "hasta pronto" for now and please read the rules that Poochie Mom asked me to attach. She says that the universe has a beautiful plan on bringing us and you together and we will all know when it's the right fit.

If you are interested in meeting one of our Malinois Magic pack, please make sure of the following:

1. You are able to adopt a dog that will be around 40-50 lbs, full grown

2. That you understand that this will be another member of your family to be adored by all for the next years.;A fur child to be exact!

3. That this pup will preferably sleep in the bed with your children, grandchildren or yourself, once they are fully potty trained.

The adoption donation/fee for puppies is $400 and includes spay/neuter surgery, first rounds of shots, microchip, deworming and current flea treatment. ...just to get everyone off to the right start!

And we only recommend organic food that can easily be found in most pet stores now. It has been proven to be the healthiest choice for overall weight gain and great health in all our shelter rescue pets!
