Name: Flayme
Breed: Border Collie
Age: 6+ years
Gender: Male
Dogs: No Dogs (BUT would love to find a home with his brother, Sunny)
Cats: Yes (Herding dog savvy cats)
Kids: Ages 12+
Special Needs: No
MUST haves: Active home, breed knowledgeable, fully fenced yard

Flayme is a stunning boy who would be happiest if he can find a home with his brother, Sunny (also listed for adoption). Flayme will need a big, fully fenced yard to run and romp in - he loooooooves to chase his ball (such a Border Collie!).

While Flyame would likely be okay as an only dog, he also would really love to be adopted with his brother, Sunny. He and Sunny have been together a long time and are very comfortable together. While Flayme is okay with Sunny, he is very controlling and bossy with other dogs and will be best alone if he cannot be with his brother.

Flayme is a medium- to high-energy boy and needs time each day dedicated to ensuring he gets a good run in, along with lots of tossing the ball, and some food puzzles to keep his brain busy. He can be easily crated for up to 4 hours a day as long as he gets enough outdoor time otherwise. Flayme is housetrained but has a history of marking when left alone, so being happily crate-trained is a bonus with him.

Flayme is very food motivated and a very smart boy. That combination means he's easy to train and loves to work for his treats. He will be fun for anyone looking for a dog to work with and have a true partner in training. On his "down time", Flayme is an affectionate, snuggly boy who will be happy with couch cuddles after dinner as you watch TV.
