Flash Whippet & Carolina Dog Mix Bethel, CT

Meet Flash, a handsome two-year-old, 30 lb. whippet/carolina dog mix with the most infectious personality and adorable smile. This sweet boy arrived to our rescue in June 2022 and has been waiting for his furever family ever since. We cannot understand how he hasn't had any interest because he's a love bug!

Flash is a playful ball of fun! He is always up for an adventure and loves running around the yard, exploring, and being with his people. He is a social butterfly and will roll right over for belly rubs the moment he meets you. Like most whippets, Flash has a lot of energy and will require an active family ready to provide him with plenty of exercise and enrichment. When he has settled down, he will walk himself into his crate or onto the couch for a nice long nap. Flash is really the best of both worlds!

He currently lives in a foster home with a large + small dog, along with cats, and does great with everyone. He can be nervous when his space isn't respected so he'd be best in a home with teens and up or older kids that are dog savvy. Flash is housetrained, walks well on leash, knows some basic commands, and is a fast learner. He tends to be an escape artist so he MUST go to a home with a fenced yard of at least 6ft.
