Hi, my name is Fish! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Playful, loyal, smart
-Can Live with Kids: Fish would do best in an adult-only home where his people can read/respect his signals. He can be mouthy when overexcited.
-Can Live with Cats: Fish did well with the cat in his previous home, but had some issues adjusting to a new cat in his adopted home. He will need a cat-free home.
-Can Live with Dogs: Fish might be able to live with just the right match-- a tolerant, mellow dog who can match his energy level and give him space would be best. Everyone will need to meet at the shelter first to ensure they're a good match.
-Can do Apartment Living: No, this active, high energy dog would not do well in an apartment setting. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal!
-Potty Trained: Appears to be!
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Depending on adopter experience, he may need to sign up for one private lesson. *Red Dog Consult required!*
-Energy Level: High
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No

Additional Information: Fish is as typical GSD- smart, active, needs lots of exercise and mental stimulation to be happy. Fish had a hard time adjusting to the shelter environment but seems to be improving now that he's got the hang of things. Fish LOVES to play and can be mouthy when overexcited. An adopter who can read/respect his body language and keep him under threshold will be necessary. GSD/working breed experience highly recommended.

Fish loves to play fetch and go for hikes. After he's had his activity for the day, he'd love to curl up on the couch and watch Netflix with you. Fish was adopted out once and returned for issues with the small animals in the home - for this reason, Fish will need a home without any small animals.
