-Can Live with Kids: Fischer has some handling sensitivities and would do best with older, respectful children who can respect his space. At this time, we're recommending no kids under 12 years of age.
-Can Live with Cats: No, Fischer has a very high prey drive and cannot live with cats or other small animals. *Fischer chased and killed a neighbor's chicken in his previous home, so he will need extra precautionary measures to ensure this doesn't happen again. He should never be left unattended outside, and a tall, secure fence is strongly recommended.
-Can Live with Dogs: Could potentially live with a tolerant dog that has a similar energy level and playstyle. Initial introductions will be done here at the shelter to ensure it's a good match.
-Can do Apartment Living: No, this intelligent, high energy dog needs lots of room to roam!
-Potty Trained: Unknown, but appears to be! Fischer was mostly an outdoor dog in his previous home so he may need some help adjusting to indoor life.

"Couch potato" is not in this dog's vocabulary-- he'll need an active home that has the time and resources to keep him occupied, engaged, and out of trouble! Fischer was primarily an outdoor dog in his previous home and would really like to come inside the house and be a part of the family. Huskies are not for everyone, but we know Fischer will make an awesome companion for the right person!
