Meet Finn is the sweet spot
Finn is a gentle boy, with a gorgeous face, a calm soul and a happy presence- impossible not to love. He has shown us great basic leash skills and walks nicely by your side without much pulling. Outdoors is where he really shines- he is definitely the outdoorsy type. He is relaxed in nature and especially affectionate under an open sky. He happily explores, soaks in allll the scents, and checks-in often offering a soft kiss before going back to what he was doing. Perfectly independent and confident without stuck to your side.
Finn is estimated to be about 4 years old and weighs 50 lbs, a great size for a boy like him. We believe he is a lab mix but given he is a rescue we cannot guarantee that. He sure brings all the richness, warmth, and comfort of a classic Lab without a single calorie to count.
When it comes to dog friends, Finn is polite and easygoing. He enjoys canine company and will bounce and play when the mood strikes, otherwise you will find him happily doing his own thing and wander at his own pace. He could happily be an easy-going +1 for a low- to medium-energy dog companion, but he would be just as happy soaking up all the love as a solo dog. He is a regular at Doggie Day Care and has always came home with positive report cars.
Finn also passed his cat test with flying colors. He met our spicy house cat with a polite sniff and then went moved on, barely paying the cat much mind at all. It was a calm coexistence that suggests he could live peacefully with feline friends.
This handsome boy is quiet, well-mannered, and adaptable, and we could see him thriving in a variety of homes, even an apartment, as long as he gets regular exercise and chances to stretch those Lab legs. Labs like Finn thrive on both physical and mental enrichment, so hell love joining you on hikes, sniffy walks, or backyard adventures, if applicable. And when the day winds down expect him to curl up close, the very best part of the day.
Finn met a 4 year old who was having one of those days where nothing seemed right, in other words- she was fussy but Finn did not mind one bit. He greeted her politely and was happy to give her some space until she felt better. Once she did, Finn was ready for a good squeeze around the neck and a few shared snacks. We have no doubt that once Finn is settled and feels secure in his new home, he will be a gentle, loyal, loving companion for the whole family.
If youre searching for a dog with the sweetness of chocolate who loves cozy couches, sunny hikes, and yummy treats then you have met your boy because he has been looking for a forever family of his own.
