Finn Bloodhound Mix Dallas, TX

Finn is a wonderful boy that was brought in from an owner surrender. His previous owner was having surgery and could not take care of him. Our rescue originally brought his mom in while she was pregnant. She was a Bloodhound, we do not know what the male's breed was. It has been challenging for him and his brother Reggie to find homes since they don't look like the typical Bloodhound. But regardless of his family tree, Finn is a sweet boy. He is socializing at the fosters home and doing better with other dogs. He loves people and would do great in a quiet home. We do not want to place him in a home with children since he has not been exposed to that environment. He is also not cat friendly so the ideal home would be feline free! Finn can tend to be a bit shy and needs time to warm up but once he does, he really loves people. His fosters are working on basic obedience with him, he knows to sit before he eats, no jumping and he is working on leash manners and recall. He loves snacks but can be a bit shy about eating them. He loves crinkle toys and hard bones to chew on. He does have some crate training but isn't crazy about them. He is potty trained and loves to give kisses! Finn is a goofy boy that loves to run and has a beautiful song to share with everyone! His special trick is "wiggle your butt" that was taught to help him redirect when he gets nervous. He has come a long way since being placed in foster care and would do great in an only dog home.
