Finnigan Black and Tan Coonhound & Greyhound Mix Liberty, MO

Hey there! My name is Finn, AKA Finnigan Wallace and I am looking for my new home. I was surrendered because my owner wanted to offer me the opportunity to have a large yard of my own with an active lifestyle that they could no longer provide for me.

A few things about me:
- I will be 2 in May. My birthday is 5/28/2022.
- I LOVE treats, if you got em’, I’ll eat em’. I will do ANYTHING for a treat. I am so smart I know all the tricks!
- I love chasing tennis balls, but will often have SQUIRREL moments and forget to bring them back.
-The ladies here love me and tell me I’m their favorite.
- I have been in several doggy play groups and believe I’m the life of the party!
- My absolute most favorite thing in the world is chasing the water hose. I’m a professional water chomper.
- Running is another great sport. I will run and run and still want more! I love to wrestle and chase my dog friends too.
-I would do best in a home without cats and would really prefer another active dog in the home.

Finn will have an adoption fee of $80 with an approved adoption application. He has already been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and is heartworm negative. His adopter will have no additional fees at time of adoption.

Finn is currently in foster and will require an appointment for meet and greets. If you would like to meet with Finn, you must first complete the adoption application which can be found here:

Once completed, you must submit to shelter staff via email at aco@libertymo.gov or by fax. Liberty Animal Shelter staff will review your application and contact you to schedule an appointment.

The Liberty Animal Shelter is currently open Monday thru Friday, 11-5pm and by appointments on the weekends.
