Finn Border Collie & Labrador Retriever Mix Bedford, VA

This teddy bear needs a home… he is a puppy at heart trapped in a big dog body. So he will need a strong leader to teach him to be the good citizen I know he can be. He absolutely hates being in a crate… so no crate for him, and a fenced yard is a must to help him get some of that puppy energy out. He is a smart boy but can be stubbornly opinionated sometimes when it comes to how he wants to do things. He is working on his jumping on people which has much improved and also working on being strong on leash. We feel that Finn is good in the house and house trained. He can be selective with smaller children. A meet and greet with other dogs is recommended. We don’t know about his behavior around cats. Finn has not had the best start in life so this is his chance. Would you consider being the one to give it to him?

Finn is up to date on all his vaccinations, on heart worm medication, neutered and microchipped. He rides well in a car.

Updated to add: Finn was evaluated by a dog trainer… He needs a job….(border collies do), the key to this special dog is exercise… exercise… exercise ... and training… he is smart and willing to learn.
