Finian was found wandering the streets of Hampton on March 16th. His back leg injured and his head, face, eyes, and mouth burned with acid, this poor boy was left to fend for himself.

Luckily, the amazing people that found him were able to get him to The COVE - Center Of Veterinary Expertise for care and comfort that first night, then he went to stay with our friends at Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter for a few days, and now he's settling in with us.

We may never know who did this to Finian, but we do know that even though he's been through a lot this past week, he's in a strange place, he hurts, he can't see, and he's scared... the only time he cries is when he's left alone. This sweet boy, after everything he's been through, just wants to be with people. He just wants love.

04/04/2022 UPDATE:
Finian is doing so much better! He no longer has to wear a cone and his energy level is picking up. We can't wait to see how much further he progresses in his recovery in the coming weeks.
