Meet Finan

Finan is an approximately 12 week old mixed breed pup that currently weighs 20 pounds. Finan is a sweet and wonderful boy with beautiful aussie like markings and a fluffy coat. We are not sure of his breed mix but based on current age and weight we expect he will be a large breed of over 60 pounds. Finan is a smart boy and is already about housebroken. He has learned to ring the bell at the door to go outside! He is a very fast learner and very treat motivated; he has mastered the sit command and is working on others. He enjoys being with his humans and is playful with other dogs he meets but will do best with a larger breed that is playful but not overly energetic. Finan can be a bit vocal and does let you know when he wants something. Finan is a very well adjusted, socialized and sweet boy that will fit into almost any home. He will need a home where someone is home during the day to continue to work on his training.
Finan is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. He will be adopted with a neuter agreement due to his size and age. His adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Charlotte Blake.
