Do you like to take naps? I do! Have you ever tried eating while laying down? It’s my favorite! Do you snore while you sleep? Me too! What’s up friends? I am Ferris. I am estimated to be about a year old and weigh ~10 lbs. I am handsome, incredibly soft, and my foster family says I am hysterical. I love to take naps stretched out on my back. If you pet my belly, I purr like a kitten. I have a very happy go lucky, go with the flow personality. I play well with all my foster siblings of all sizes. I love all humans, big or small, and never refuse a cuddle session. Some of my favorite things besides naps
include eating. I play, get a snack, and take a nap. Life is great. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, kennel trained, and house trained. I’m ready for a forever loving home!

**Please do not use the "Introduce Yourself" feature. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information.

2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250

*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
