FERGIE Pit Bull Terrier & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Phoenix, AZ

You might remember Fergie. She came to Home Fur Good in April of 2020 from the county shelter, she was adopted in May, returned, and then adopted out again in June. Her June 2020 family rehomed her and then that family took her to the county shelter. Besides not having the best luck at finding a family, she is a four-year-old, 70-pound, low-riding hippo and Pit Bull mix. Fergie has never heard of personal space, and to be honest, she doesn’t want to know anything about it. Little Miss. Fergalicious wants to be all up in your business. She knows sit, down, and high five. Fergie has allergies and she should not eat chicken. She enjoys bananas, broccoli, and frozen strawberries and blueberries. Fergie is house trained and will whimper at the door to be let out. HFG does always warn that accidents can happen while a dog learns the rules and routines in a new home. Fergie warms up faster to women than to men, and she is a sensitive lady who prefers instruction over loud shouts. Fergie will seek comfort from her people during wind and rainstorms. When left alone, she should be left with various toys, or she will find her own items to chew. Fergie is all about snuggles and cuddles; she will need a family willing to relax and make a puppy pile for amazing afternoon naps or nightly chill times watching TV. The adoption fee is $225 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment only.
