Howlo there! I’m Feona and I’m an adoptable pup full of pure puppy sweetness and I’m looking for a family to welcome me home!
My foster family thought you'd love to know more about me!
Feona is a bit of a princess and it's such a joy to see her being comfortable, loving food, treats, and all of the nice things that she deserves! She's really sweet and delights in being taken care of and napping with her humans and toys surrounding her.
She sleeps through the night really well as long as you're right nearby! We've been teaching her to lie down/settle down by gesturing with our palm, down towards her mat, and as long as I'm nearby, she'll maybe whine once but then will curl up in a little swirl and settle down for 8+ hours- super impressive for her age!
She's excelling at potty training! We've been spending a lot of time with her and letting her roam in a playpen or a puppy-proofed area with us nearby, and she'll tell us when she needs to go out with a very specific bark.
She's kind of funny and won't chase balls or play fetch now unless we also run after them!
She's doing well with "drop it," working on "sit," and has been jumping up less when she meets new people. She's been very gentle with the older kids we've met, and was absolutely darling and sweet with my 94 year-old grandma!
She's super smart and picks up her bowl and brings it to us when she's out of water or getting hungry/ready for breakfast or dinner!
She loves her squeaker toys and loves to sleep on top of them!
She loves hiking and trails (better than walking on roads) and is going to be a great buddy for anyone who goes out to those areas often! She's also been getting better at walking long distances on the rail trail without stopping (we trained through her fear of bikes, even though she'll still try to hide behind us a bit, she'll keep walking)!
I sound pretty awesome, right? I’m around 5 months old and 20-25 lbs.
