MY STORY
Let me just take a few minutes to take all of this in. I find it so amazing that by sharing my story someone will fall in love and adopt me. I mean, heck, a few days ago I was in the shelter. Now, I am in a loving foster home searching for my forever home. It all sounds like a dream come true! As far as getting to this point, I came into the shelter as a stray. It was surprising that no one came to reclaim me, but at least I had a rescue waiting for me after stray hold. That leads us up to right now, right this second...where one lucky family is going to be adopting me!
ABOUT ME
My name is Faye and I am a 2 year old female Great Pyrenees mix. I currently weigh about 64lbs, and will probably top out somewhere close to the 80lb range. I have the most beautiful eyes, and one of the silkiest coats around! Here is what my foster says about me
"Faye is all puppy. She may be 2 years old already, but you can see in her eyes that she is having a blast just getting to be a puppy. She loves playing with toys, she loves playing with the other dogs, she loves getting pets, and she just loves life! She is on the more energetic side, but it is so fun to watch life through her eyes. I don't think she really got to have a fun puppy hood and she is making up for it now! She loves everyone she meets and is sure to make you smile! She loves giving these gentle hugs so she can give you a kiss. If you are wanting a playful, but also lovey dovey type dog Faye is the girl for you!"
I am a little nervous when it comes to new environments, but warm up fairly quickly. I think currently I would be nervous going to public outings, but would probably come around to them in time. I do walk okay on a leash, and do well on car rides. I have pretty good house manners, and am given free roam of the house when no one is home or at night. I do love playing with toys, but have not had a chance to play in any water. I am working on my potty training currently. My foster doesn't kennel so I am not kennel trained. I am good with other dogs, and do fine with the cats. I have not been around any kids.
WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN MY NEW HOME
I definitely want a doggie playmate, I really love to romp around with the other dogs! I would also love a home that is on the more active side, since I am too! A home that doesn't mind an oversized puppy as well, since that is totally what I am! ? I would also prefer that they don't kennel since I have never been in one.
