Fate Australian Kelpie Mix Phoenix, AZ

Fate was a stray for over 3 years which is most of her life! She is undersocialized so being around people and in a home is completely new to her. She'll need someone to slowly introduce her to things that are normal for a domesticated dog such as wearing a collar, being on a leash, going potty outside, being pet, etc. She will accept the occasional chin scratches but only from people she trusts and she is currently working on wearing a slip lead and exiting her kennel on her own. She wants to accept your love but she doesn't quite know how. If you have the patience to give, we promise it will be so worth it! Potential adopters will be required to have a home check so we can help them with the setup that Fate needs and they will need to make multiple visits to the shelter before adoption to gain Fate's trust and learn how to work with her.
