Fancy – 14 weeks old, female, Australian Shepherd mix puppy. She’s in a foster home in HOUSTON, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up!

Fancy is the firstborn of her litter and has been turning heads since day one—born with no tail and sporting adorable black markings on her toes that look like painted toenails! She’s a true Aussie mix with all the personality to match: smart, confident, and full of charm. Fancy is also the escape artist of the group—she can climb a 48” enclosure fence with ease, so she’ll need a secure setup and a watchful eye. Her shining personality makes her a favorite, and while she does fine around other dogs, she definitely prefers the company of people.

Like her siblings, Fancy is still learning the basics and isn’t yet housebroken or crate trained. She’ll thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not to guide her through her puppy milestones with patience, routine, and lots of positive reinforcement.

We’ve included a picture of Fancy’s mom and the pup we believe to be the dad (our best guess based on who was hanging around!). Both are around 40 pounds, but as with any rescue pup, adopters should be flexible about adult size and breed—there are no guarantees, and that’s part of the fun!

Puppies under 6 months of age are adopted out on a spay/neuter contract, and adopters will be responsible for ensuring Fancy is altered when age-appropriate.

NOTE: $100 OF YOUR ADOPTION DONATION WILL BE REFUNDED AFTER YOU SHOW PROOF OF FUTURE SPAY/NEUTER.
