Meet Fancy!

She just arrived to us from one of our shelter partners in Arkansas.

We are just getting to know her and will update this post with pictures, videos and more personality information as we get to know her. The Arkansas shelter staff said she does the "doggy smile"

She is at a foster home in Dyer, IN with 5 other dogs. Foster mom says " She gets along great with our tribe, including the cat. She likes to run like a fool outside, chases toys. She loves to snuggle too. A really good girl"

She loves loves loves playing with toys. She will also play fetch.
She is really personable. Foster described her like a puppy because she plays all the time.

She also knows how to "sit"

She is 4yrs old, 12lbs, up to date on vaccines, rabies, has a microchip.

- one of our team members will get back to you.

- our dogs can be seen by appointment only after an approved application has been received.

- Adoption fee helps to cover her spay, initial vaccines, rabies, initial worming, and microchip.

-We cannot place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.

NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.

Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.
