Fabian German Shepherd Dog Mix Jefferson City, MO

Fabian is a 41 lb shepherd (mix?). Neutered. His paperwork says 1yr 9 mo old. He has his adult teeth and they are pearly white! His ears and paws are proportional to his body, but his energy says he's more like 9 months to 1 year old! We have a 5 yr old GSD who he loves and copies (monkey see, monkey do!). We have a fat cat who doesn't run from dogs, who we say think he's a Schnauzer. Fabian needed a lot of correction to "leave it" to the cat, and is getting better. He's super excitable about outside animals, squirrels, birds, ground hogs, etc. I'm afraid if he were unsupervised, things might get ugly. He does respect being corrected, and backs off quickly, I think he greatly wants to please us. He kennels nicely. He is pretty excitable when he first gets out, but does settle down quickly. He loves to sit in your lap and give kisses. We have gone uptown multiple times on walks with him and Sarge, and people love him. He doesn't know a stranger. He's really the perfect little pocket shepherd. He loves to play fetch with a ball or squeeker toy. (We haven't really had him around children, but I think he really needs a 5 year old !! )
