Exxon Labrador Retriever & Boxer Mix New Orleans, LA

Estimated to be around 3 years old Exxon spent months at a local shelter overlooked time and time again despite his amazing personality. This guy is a big goof. He loves everyone he is introduced to, he never meets a stranger!
Exxon is fully grown at around 55-60 pounds. He does still have playful energy, we would say he’s about medium energy level. He LOVES to run with his friends and play tag. He is great in the car and enjoys hanging over the back seats to watch the cars behind you, wagging his tail as usual! Exxon takes everything with stride and the first time our volunteers met him he sat sweetly in his shelter kennel just accepting pets. He loves to go on walks and does best with an easy walk harness.
AND he is cat friendly!!

Exxon is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. He is ready for his turn in finding a forever home!

An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information.

2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250

*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
