Meet Evita
Meet Evita, a resilient soul with a heart ready to love. Born in March 2020 and weighing a graceful 49lbs, Evita’s journey to our shelter is one of courage and hope. Saved from an uncertain fate by a compassionate vet tech, she’s learning to trust and embrace life’s joys again.
Evita’s past was not kind. She was valued only for the puppies she could provide, and when she could no longer fulfill that role, she faced a grim future. But her story didn’t end there. We share this because it’s important to understand why Evita may be shy at first. She’s a survivor, and every day with us is a step towards a brighter future.
In her early days at the shelter, even a simple walk was a challenge. But thanks to our dedicated staff and volunteers, Evita has blossomed
Evita’s impeccable manners extend to her living space, which she keeps spotless, hinting at an easy transition to house training. What Evita desires most is a forever home with someone who embodies compassion, understanding, and patience. Someone who will gently guide her through her fears and insecurities.
Evita is a sweet girl looking for her forever home and after some effort in her previous foster situation, we've decided it would be best if Evita were in a home where she could be the only dog. She did live with a cat during this time and did well so she'd be okay in a home with a feline friend!
For the lucky person who welcomes Evita into their home, they’ll discover her unwavering loyalty and the sweet, loving nature that we’ve come to adore. Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a county license at an additional cost of $21, this fee is cash only. Adoption fees can be done using credit card or cash.
