Evie Papillon & Pekingese Mix Richmond, VA

My name is Evie, and I am a beautiful female Papillion/Pekingese mix, Some people think I have sheltie or even corgi in me, but does it matter? I am after all just adorable and unique me. I am around 5 to 7 years old and weigh about 25 lbs. Since arriving in my foster home, I have let more and more of how wonderful of a dog I really am shine through. When I first arrived I would show my teeth if I was feeling unsure but now that I feel safe and loved, I am just a sweetheart of a dog. I am friendly and love to greet new friends' people and canines. I am smart and know how to sit and lie down and will wait for my food until you tell me it is okay. I enjoy playing and being close to you. I do fine with other dogs, but I would be fine as an only dog or with another playful dog. I love to play tug of war and when my foster's niece and nephew came for a visit it was discovered I love older kids or anyone who will play with me. I am house-trained and love to go out in the foster's backyard. I walk well on a leash and love walks. I love riding in the car and being close to my human.
