Evie is a 4-year-old active girl just looking for her next family adventure. She loves to play with her stuffed toys showing her puppy side and enjoys her outdoor walks as well. At 50 pounds she doesn't know she is not a lap dog but really prefers to be. She wants to snuggle with her human all day long if allowed. She can't get enough pets and has fallen asleep under my hand numerous times.. A firm but kind voice is all the correction she needs to guide her in the right direction like when she wants to wrestle with the cat. Evie is just a big Love Bug who needs a lively family of her own who will include her in their daily activities. Evie would do best being the only dog in an adult household or with a similarly active dog. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! We are always looking for good foster homes. Our rescue is foster based and we can always save more dogs if we have foster homes for them to go into. It is not a long term commitment. We have been able to find good forever homes in a short time. We also welcome volunteers who can help transport dogs and help with our outreach and fund raising efforts. Please contact us if you can help.
