Everest has yet to meet a stranger and is a social butterfly! She's gregarious, happy, and loves, loves, loves meeting new people. Unfortunately, Everest was hit by a car in Kentucky. She was fortunate to survive, but she did suffer a severe injury to her left eye. The eye could not be saved and had to be surgically removed. Everest handled surgery like a champ, recovered quickly, and is now ready to meet her forever family. Everest is well-behaved in the home, is crate trained, and does excellent with her housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. She is being fostered with other dogs and gets along well with everyone. She is still a young girl, very energetic and playful, and will do best with an active family that can keep her busy. We expect that she will be a popular pup; get your application in today!
She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to meet her forever family. Her adoption fee to the rescue is $375. This fee covers the cost of the medical care needed to prepare her for adoption, including her eye enucleation, spay, vaccines, microchip, and initial de-worming. Everest is currently in a foster home in Chicago and can be seen by appointment once an application has been received and approved.
